Marqt is all about REAL, sustainable, fair and good quality foods. The retail design and architecture is always a blend of the heritage of the building with the modern facilities. The look and feel of is raw yet subtle luxurious. It reminds us a little of Dean and Deluca in New York, which is in our opinion a very good thing, a food chain like Marqt is the one thing we missed in Holland. |

Do you love cooking as we do? Go do a workshop at Ritz Escoffier, in the 5 stars Ritz Hotel downtown Paris! We did the course Macaroons Chocolate Black Truffle. It was a life time experience. Our teacher Pierre Prevots, who used to be a chef at a 2 michelin star restaurant, was simply great. Take your chance to attend cooking workshops now, since there is not much time left... The Maison & Objet Fair 2012 in Paris was again very inspiring. Great to see that the fair keeps optimizing, a couple of years ago they introduced the beauty and fragrances section (where we were present, in hall 5A). This year a new section with foods (located between Hall 4 and 5), a small section yet it is an interesting development. Food becomes more and more a life style. |
